Pacifica High School Campus
The design of Pacifica High School’s ten new buildings transforms the 50-year old campus into a 21st century learning environment, encouraging students’ creative expression through collaborative space, integrated technology, and hands-on learning.
WD fast-track designed ten new buildings for the 1,800-student Pacifica High School campus, with our design developed strategically to maximize use of resources from AB 300 funds. WD’s full scope of work includes reconfiguring parking and student drop-off areas; the creation of new landscaped academic quads; and the addition of five Classroom Buildings, a dedicated Science Building, a new student and staff Dining Hall, new Library Media Center, a new 450-seat Performing Arts Center, and a new Gym and Aquatic Center. Built in multiple phases, all new campus development will be constructed without disrupting day-to-day learning activities.
Based on state-required tests and how well its students are prepared for college, Pacifica High School has earned a silver medal in the US News & World Report National Rankings. Reflecting this educational stature, WD’s additions to the campus encourage community- both inside and outside the classroom- through collaborative work areas, hands-on learning spaces, and integrated technology, all focused on elevating the student learning experience.
