Westgroup Designs partnered with the County of Riverside to revitalize the historic Edward-Dean Museum & Gardens in Cherry Valley, enhancing the property as a welcoming destination for cultural, educational, and community events.
The project centered on the renovation of the approximately 3,950-square-foot Kay C. Building, transforming its meeting and event spaces while upgrading the commercial kitchen, restrooms, finishes, lighting, building systems, and accessibility. Improvements extended beyond the building to the surrounding site, with upgrades to outdoor gathering areas, circulation, parking, landscaping, and accessible paths of travel that better connect the museum campus and gardens.
Together, the building and site improvements preserve the character of this distinctive Riverside County property while creating a more functional, accessible, and inviting setting for weddings, celebrations, community gatherings, and other special events.
