Westgroup Designs was selected by Long Beach Unified School District to design a new building on the campus for the first “all gender” athletic center, complete with progressively planned locker/ changing/shower facilities, a fitness gym, multi-purpose room dance studio, as well as support spaces. As LBUSD continues their commitment to providing a safe and equitable learning environment for all students, this facility will set the stage for more opportunities for everyone to participate in all academic extracurricular activities.
