The Irvine Company looked to reinvent their office suites to maximize work space while encouraging teamwork. They needed a fresh set of eyes, and that’s where we came in.
A private real estate company known for its master planned communities, the Irvine Company needed improvement solutions for their 2,000-20,000 sf ReadyNow Suites. They desired an optimized space to promote principals of comprehensiveness, collaborative citizenship and employee engagement.
Westgroup went right to work. Our team provided space planning, conceptual and schematic design and preliminary pricing studies. We developed the interior architecture, lighting, millwork, finishes and furniture components to the new suites, integrating connectivity and flexibility into the planning model to provide greater value for both individual and shared spaces.
Our flexible layout of the client environment relied primarily on dynamic modularity. We designed customizable spaces, from focused work areas to interactive collaboration zones, to fit activity-based needs and varied work styles. While functional and creative, the built elements still retained their alignment with the building’s core through modular glass panels. These panels carried multi-functional use, were easy to reconfigure and helped maximize natural lighting, which penetrated the space from perimeter to core.
Through its modular partitions and components, the resulting design gave the office suites improved circulation and added support for changing needs as well as planned and random interactions.
