Magnolia High School Agriscience Community Center (MACC)

Westgroup Designs is proud to collaborate with the Anaheim Union High School District on the Magnolia Agriscience Community Center (MACC), an innovative agricultural and educational facility located on the 2.5-acre campus of Magnolia High School. Designed to foster sustainable farming practices and community engagement, the MACC is both a thriving urban farm and a dynamic learning environment that empowers students, families, and the broader community to explore critical topics like food sustainability, nutrition, and environmental stewardship.
MACC empowers students with hands-on agricultural experiences, addressing topics like food deserts and sustainability. The MACC Club gives students leadership opportunities, while partnerships with UCI provide access to science labs and research. The produce grown feeds into school lunches, improving meal quality for the 89% of students eligible for free or reduced-price meals.
The MACC encourages community involvement through events, cooking classes, and sustainable gardening initiatives, promoting healthier living for students and families. Westgroup Designs is honored to contribute to this forward-thinking project, which fosters education and strengthens community ties.

Features:
